Inspired by Patrick Süskind’s Perfume. The main character is called Jean Baptiste Grenouille and is supposed to be odorless. I’ve heard it inspired Kurt Cobain to write the In Utero’s “Scentless Apprentice”. One of my favorite books and one of my favorite songs ever. The 23 is for my birthday.

Some did figure it out, not very hard if you look at "Drives" under my avatar.
My initials are JJ, also its what I been known as since the time I joined the navy back in 75. The 83 was the last 911SC. In 84 they drop the Super and just call them Carrera. |

The first forum I joined was Corvette Forum when I bought my 05 Daytona Sunset Orange C6. so the name Burnt C6. I just use it on all the forms I'm on.

Back when I first joined this forum my nearly daily activity was flying this aircraft (a Pitts S2C) practicing for aerobatic competitions:
 That photo is from a magazine article shoot that was done for Private Pilot Magazine. We did a lot of formation flying back around the time these photos were taken and hired out a few times to the photographers to fly other people's aircraft to get close formation photos. |

When I was a teenager I would go to the boat races whenever they were in town. The name of one of the Racing Runabout Class boats always stuck in my mind, "Das Firespitten Loudenboomer". It's so wonderfully humorous and descriptive. When I started tracking my first BMW (2019) a friend asked me what I was going to name my car (I know.. it's a chick thing). It too would get really loud and spit fire on occasion. When I told her how much I loved the name "D F L" she christened it Boomer. So...

I’m a technical field service engineer in the industrial robotics field. I fix robots, as well as install/program/perform maintenance/train customers/provide process improvement analysis on them. While RobotFixr would have been accurate my buddy already took that moniker during the beginning of the AOL days so I took RobotDoctor. I play with robots.
