there's a program called Gimp that's free (or at least it used to be)
I tryed it for a couple of days until I found some other programs. I can't really speak for how much control it has over RAW files or anything as I didn't really know what I was doing back then. but might be worth testing out. |

Also if you are a 'student' there's the full Photoshop CS5 for $199. Although, less than legal sources are far cheaper, I like knowing I have a legit copy that can run updates without fear of the internet police showing up.

Ok, unedited, but it's time to start getting horizons straight. You're only a degree or so off, but it shows both in the background and that smoke pot or whatever it is in the foreground.
I like the composition and colors. Dave

LR on sale for $69:
http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc..._Software.html Why not be legal? Stealing would not be a great way to start a photography "career", or anything in life, for that matter. Dave

Thanks Mark. Yes, they are incredibly colorful and amazingly hard to shoot because they're almost always partly hidden in the grasses or flying very fast and low.

It's an election year. One election year Boston leans left, the next it leans right.
