This does look really great however. I haven't been a fan lately of BMW design. But for a sedan this looks nice and classy. I know it's just a render. But looks like no exhaust tips. Electric?

In Europe (or at least in Norway) it would sell like hot cakes imo.
The AT, GT and now the X1, it's pretty much like a sub brand, like the i. Not an enthusiast first choice, but the models itself, theyr pretty damn good imo. Just as an example, the 225d AT will cost you about 500k in Norway, the hybrid though (225Xe), will cut of almost 150k from that price, that will also give you AWD and some extra features.

I think that looks really damn good actually. As someone else said, if they make a fully electric version of it, I think it would be great. Certainly less polarizing than the i3. I'd rock one as a DD
P.S this car came out of nowhere. Wasn't expecting this at all personally |

Definitely like it better than the A3, which I presume is it's competition? High hopes for this lightweight beauty!

Looks great from the front, because they are taking a lot of design cues from Audi. The back also looks good because it looks like a Hyundai which are also nice looking cars.
I'm only semi serious but I do see a lot of design elements in other cars here. But everyone copies BMW I thought? I'm confused |

I like the detailing (except for the strange looking mirrors), but there is a fundamental flaw in the proportions, which are the very long front overhang and short rear one... These proportions reminds me of French FWD sedans and IMO looks very awkward in a BMW design...

No more sub-3 Series RWD vehicles (except the i3, if you think of it as below the 3 Series). The 1 and 2 Series models that are RWD today will move to UKL for the next generation and beyond. Quote:

http://f20.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1031527 Now whether the concept specifically previews the car we've seen driving around is perhaps left for some debate. There will likely be a 2GC as well, and who knows what else they could cook up. A 1 Series equivalent of the 3 and 5 GT models is also possible, assuming all of this form factor spit-balling (well, I am sure there's more to it than that - but it seems that way sometimes) doesn't cease soon and leave a smaller, cleaner product lineup |
