I don't know how Amy got so popular. None of her skits on her show were funny. Even in her movie Trainwreck, it was the other actors/actresses that made it tolerable. I like Nikki Glazers show, she's funnier and I feel like she'd be more down to earth than Amy.

Although I haven't seen this movie where she's got magic muff, the flip side is Adam Sandler. Notice he's always cast opposite the HOTTEST chick EVER? I mean he's funny but his character is almost always Mr. Dufus Everyman...meanwhile he's with Jennifer Aniston, Brooklyn Decker, Salma Hayek, that chick from Entourage...etc etc.

After trying to decipher your incoherent reply, I'm still at a loss, but saying she's an embarrassment to women is a bit of a stretch. If anything she's an inspiration, she shows even a homely girl can make it in Hollywood as a comedienne. I think people in this thread are upset she's upsetting the status quo. Some people don't like change, they just want to stay in their bubble where funny women in movies are either sex objects or overweight clowns.

Couldn't agree more. I don't understand all of the hype. I got through about 15 minutes of one of her stand-up specials and I turned it off without even cracking a smile.
