So not counted as one. Nope.

This sale should gather a serious pile of lettuce for his daughter hopefully.

Vin D being her Godparent he should be overseeing this sale.

It's no wonder he also collected those Important Fords as one of his grandfathers raced them in the 60s.

He had a dope background.
He was one of our own and a true Southern Californian. Being almost the same age and generation we ran into each other a lot and shared many of the same friends and interests. It's still sad to me his passing and even how it went down.

"....Walker was born in Glendale, California, the son of Cheryl (née Crabtree), a fashion model, and Paul William Walker III, a sewer contractor and boxer who was a two-time Golden Gloves champion.[8][9][10] Paul's paternal grandfather had a boxing career as "'Irish' Billy Walker". Paul's ancestry was mostly English, with some German, Swiss, and Irish.[11] One of his grandfathers raced factory cars for Ford in the 1960s.[8] The oldest of five siblings, Walker was raised primarily in the Sunland community of Los Angeles and attended high school in the San Fernando Valley, graduating from Sun Valley's Village Christian School in 1991.[12][13] He was raised in a Mormon household.[9] After high school, Walker attended several community colleges in Southern California, majoring in marine biology...."

A badass in Jits also.
His R32 used to light up the nights street racing together back in the day in South Torrance - Pedro sectors. The car would literally leap from the ground on take off. All four wheels flying and flames as he disappeared and then Gone. Even superbikes couldn't hang with that car off the line.

So fun everytime he would show up to run with us ( all Bimmer group ).
Sorry, this post just stirred up many memories.

RIP PW.

I hope his cars pull mad money. 🙏🏼🔥🙏🏼

I really like the somewhat eclectic collection, but like some others, I have to question why someone would want multiple of the same exact car. I could see having an e30 M3 and a single e36 LTW, but the other spots currently taken by similar M3 would be taken by some other very interesting euro cars as well.

My guess is that PW thought that the LTW cars would be worth lots of dough in 25 yrs, so more of an investment vehicle than a love of the specific car. Who knows though, car enthusiasm is probably among the least logical interests out there, lol.

I’ve never said that it was a true LTW, however, the next owner would be lucky IMHO.

I watched a good portion of the auction on tv and was disappointed that I didn't see these pop up. Anyone know what they ended up going for?

I was just at Barrett-Jackson in Vegas over the weekend. They had one of his LTW's on display in the Scottsdale preview area. That particular LTW was obviously a driver and not a "preserved" one. Front bumper color was different. Almost seemed like it was faded. The LTW sticker on hood had some small bits chipped off. Still a cool car though. Will be interesting to see what these go for in January.

They also don't negotiate on pricing, so there are people who are willing to pay that.
