i've had a GTR (dream car when i was 22 in med school), 458, and GT3
dream car, which is probably going to be unobtainable, is a carrera GT. But i can sort of imagine what it would be like between the 458 and manual gt3.

When I was young, it was 100% a Ferrari 328GTSI.
As I got older the bar kept moving as I was able to get what seemed like unattainable cars to 'young' me. First it was my E36 M3C. Then I lusted after an E39M5 before I was able to get one. Now that I have a 911, I find myself looking back and dreaming about some of the OG super cars from before my time. If I'm truly dreaming now, its BMW M1s (that one that just sold on BAT was magnificent), Ferrari 288GTOs, Porsche 356 speedsters and Mercedes 300SL. I fully expect those will be dreams that I don't one day get to realize. |

For me, it's always been about the cars, but as a 15 year-old sitting in the theater watching Goldfinger, James Bond's Aston Martin DB5 became my dream car...still is.

I have so many, but if I had to choose only one? Carrera GT, hands down.

The list is very long...
- '67 Corvette L88 Conv - '84 Porsche/Ruf 930 turbo (BTR spec) - '85 Lamborghini Countach LP5000 QV - '87 Ferrari 288 GTO - '95 Honda NSX Type R - '96 Ferrari F40 LM - '98 McLaren F1 GTR - '99 Ferrari F355 - '01 Mazda RX-7 Bathurst R - '01 Honda S2000 Type V - '02 Nissan Skyline R34 GT-R V-spec II - '04 BMW M3 CSL (manual conversion) - '09 Lotus Exige S260 Cup race car - '12 Lexus LFA Nur Edition - '15 McLaren P1 - '15 Porsche 911 GT3 RS - '17 Aston Martin Vantage V12 S Manual - '18 Ferrari 488 SP38 - '23 Tesla Roadster I've had brief fascinations with other cars, like the Dodge M4S Turbo Interceptor from The Wraith, but I think that about covers it. I'm a man of modest means, so I have an '06 Lotus Exige as a toy, and an M2 as a daily, and I'm quite happy. |

I can't wait until I get a place of my own(give me 3-4 years. Still got 2 years left of college) and get a lift out into my garage (or maybe build a second barn/garage and have a lift there). I can't stand a garage packed with a bunch of bs |

The Lotus sleeps in my basement. That's also where I do any work on the cars, as I find that being in that kind of environment I work best (comfort, no bugs, no excess heat or cold, fridge/bathroom/couch nearby). As I said, I'm a man of simple means, so this was the best solution for me.

But still, there's no room for a lift in your basement. The ceiling is low. |

I forgot about the MK2 Golf GTI! I always wanted one of these...still do. I would do a VR6 swap and make it my daily driver.
