I had mine done 2 years ago. I'm 23 so i'm about your age. Best investment i have ever made. If i knew it would be that easy i would have done it so much sooner. I went to doctor Ken Moadel in NYC. He's on madison ave in mid-town. If you want any more info PM me.
Heres an article on him. http://www.ny2020.com/new-york-lasik...ken-moadel.htm

I got mine done exactly 1 year ago today. I paid 2k per eye at the Laser eye center in Eninco CA. I got a custome one done for me it cost about 1k more than the regular surgury. My eyes were -6.50 and -6.75 and are now 20/20 I recommend it to anyone thinking about getting it done.

To those who have had it done - do you still have issues with dry eyes? My eyes have severe sensitivity; I can't wear contacts, can't touch my eyes, and even the thought of doing so makes them water bad.
I've been seriously considering lasik and even went and had all the tests done and they said I am the ideal client for Lasik. I just don't know if I can deal with life long dry eyes. ________ Toyota TF106 specifications ________ MEDICAL MARIJUANA PATIENTS Last edited by stimpy; 02-18-2011 at 06:14 AM.. |

I didn't have any issue like that. Just the day/night of the surgery obviously. They tell you to keep your eyes closed for about 8 hours after you have it done. opening them every 2 hours just to put drops in. So i just slept all day. When i woke up about 10 hours after the surgery it was about 4 am. When i opened my eyes the tv was on and i could see it perfectly. Before that day i couldn't see the tv if i was 6 inches away. If they say you are a good candidate, don't hesitate. PS. another option for DRY ITCHY EYES try this .

Eye Surgery
The LASIK refractive eye surgery procedure can treat myopia (nearsightedness), hyperopia (farsightedness), and astigmatism, and reduce patients' dependency
