Im a die hard WINGS fan! We're hurting pretty bad this year especially now losing Franzen in the win against your Hawks! Sucks bad. But anything can happen when it gets to playoff time. Im actually going to the wings game this thursday in Phoenix. The Coyotes have been a great surprise. I really hope they do well im moving there in January and would love to keep the team out there.

Anyways, I appreciate anyone who loves the sport like I do. Here's to a great season!

Man that's a heck of a drive for the game.

haha yeah - guess I've just been spoiled always living near a hockey team (even if it's been the Coyotes the past 2.5 years). Can't imagine not having an NHL team nearby. The Wings/Coyotes game should be good.

I'm just happy Montreal won tonight and the losing streak is over!

Finally lol....even though they won in SO haha, 5 games losing streak is over!! They were all close games except for the canucks game.....injuries killed them, especially Markov's injury.

IMO, last night showed some poor coaching by Jacques Martin. After getting his bell rung, Bergeron wasn't the same the rest of the night - and it was his guy who put in Atlanta's only goal. Martin should have kept him off the ice.

Yeah, I was pissed too. But as much as I hate to say it, it was a clean hit. Necessary? Probably not, props to Versteeg for steppin in there and dropping the gloves with him. Hopefully Toews is ok.

Yeah, I was thining the same thing, but I figured any plans I would have new years wouldn't be until late. Plus, it may be cool to be there New Years Eve. I do have tickets to a Bulls game on 12/12 against Boston...that should be interesting.
