Man it must be nice to be able to dump all of your 'disposable' income into a car.

Not again with the PC vs Mac (mac wins by FAR)...

Couldn't of said it better myself..I like how he's not posting anymore on here HAHA.

Cayman and Boxter = Awesome cars that insecure people can't appreciate
Mac = Better than PC in every way possible. Period. /thread

Jerry Seinfeld has one of the largest Porsche collections in America, and I have seen numerous pics/videos of him driving around a Boxster as a daily driver, even though he has just about every Porsche model ever released.

as for Apple vs. PC, If you are doing any kind of music/graphic or video editing, there is absolutely no question about it, Apple dominates.

Are you sure it was the computer that sucked?

Have fun with Windows 7. I am sure 8 will be along in a jiffy.

Well I don't think there that fast, from what I've seen they run the quarter in 12.9-13.1.

Not slow on the straights either, but with obliterate anything in the twisties. With PDK the boxster S ran 12.6@110 mph (0-60: 4.1, 0-100: 10.1). The cayman S will be just slightly faster with a 111-112 mph trap.
On a twisty technical track, 09 Cayman S is very close to 09 Carrera S and fairly easily beats non-S 09 Carrera. It is also easier to drive at the limit. I'd rather call it sleeper than a poser car - you do not know how good it is till you try one.

Never liked the looks of the Cayman. Looks too much like a frog or something.

This is old but I had to give a big +1 here. I would think the posers would actually be some of those ppl who buy the 911 for no reason other than because it's top-of-the-line and don't appreciate the diff in driving dynamics vs the mid-engined Porsche.

Porsche has a big prb in deciding the future of the 911 given its superior handling Cayman platform.

It's hard to live with the Cayman if you're over 6 feet tall.

I had an '07 Cayman (non S). Handling was off the chart but, it had no legs unless you kept the RPM's above 4500 and since I can't drive worth a crap well........ As the previous poster stated, it is also very small if you are 6ft plus.

If I was spending that money again I would look at an M3 as striking a better balance of daily living. If I had to have another P car, I'd look real hard for a good 993; now that's a Porsche to own.

I'm talking about the entire cockpit.

I did a hot lap in a cayman S at Buttonwillow and that was a cramped ride. Steering wheel was like 8 inches from my chest. A snug fit is great for a track event, but as a daily... I couldn't do it.

I'd wait for the Cayman RS or the light weight cayman to unveil at LA autoshow before making a decision

Garage List
Owned an 08 Cayman S and loved it. It could use a little more power but for what you should use on the street its good. And the handling is awesome. I drove a new one with the PDK and its killer! I do prefer the manual but either way its a great ride. The only reason I gave it up was for an R8. If I ever have to give it up the Porsche has a spot in the garage.
