+1, I hate all those stupid random color Roundels. Whether it be black and white or red and white. I even saw pink and white Roundel on a black 328i that had a cheap crystal beaded frame around the licence plate. Some black girl was driving it on the freeway while blasting Ke$ha...

Nice thread-jack, bro

And no... they don't. I'm pretty sure everyone and their brother is pretty aware of the colors of the roundel.

Oh ya and when I meant they look stock they are so flush and clean... You would have to get up really close on them to tell its just vinyl...

Hate what? The red roundel? The dirty paint? The chopped off rear end? Nah, I love it.

Nice car! I sold my 335 April 2010 and picked up a 2010 GTI. Had it APR chipped at 500 miles, and I love it. I do miss my 335 and will be back in a BMW on a yr or 2, but for now the GTI is a lot of fun.

Enjoy, it's a nice looking CC!

The APR tune really wakes the car up. Definitely notice more turbo lag on this car than the 335, with that it was non existant. I was on the same schedule as you, picked up my car and the next week had an appointment to get it lowered and chipped and put the APR intake in. I can't stand leaving anything stock for long.

I read this thread and realized that most of the negative/immature comments are from "135i ///msport" owners (who cares about msport? It's just sport package plus some fake mbadges). I thought I should drop in and tell you that I like the new VW's and I never see that model on the road..it looks nice. Do these cars come with vw's dsg? If so, that's a plus over the 3.

In regards to the 1, I'm not a fan at all of the black/red roundels or blacked out tailights..but I do have black/white roundels on my car. I haven't decided if I'm going to leave them on but they do blend in nicely with the black grills.

One of the best looking cars VW has ever produced IMO.

You forgot horribly ugly tinted tails, and for the roundel

Don't want to contribute to the thread jack, like I said before, nice car OP.

Thanks man. I expected a little backlash, but mostly positive comments, I always liked this forum because most posters are mature and just overall car enthusiasts.

I do have the DSG transmission. I'm torn if I really like it or not. I wanted a manual, but I had a hard enough time finding an R Line, let alone one with the options/color I wanted. Ideally I would have gotten a manual with the exterior being white, but this was a big enough battle finding this one.

The DSG isn't bad, it's just quirky. I used to have a Z4 with the original SMG transmission in it, kind of what it feels like. Rolls back on hills, hesitates from a stop, etc. If you put it in "sport" mode it shifts like it should and it's perfect, but I'm always hesitant to wear down the tranny driving around in sport mode all day. Not sure if it matters or not really. But when it's in sport the shifts are really quick and smooth, might just take some getting used to, I've only had the car about a month and a half, so still getting used to it I think.

If anything sport mode allow less 'slipping of' or 'riding' the clutch, so as long as it isn't sending shock/jolts through the car (which I have not felt in a modern, DSG, DCT, PDK) I don't think you are doing any harm.

I leave my dct in sport mode most of the time to prevent the sluggishness. I'ts still a plus over an auto but it's debatable if it's better than a manual. (Although its certainly quicker).

I'm having a hard time holding back from commenting to the guy who said that the new 6 series is a "boat". The 7 series and x6 have blown up also! They should return to their lightweight racing roots.

I've only seen renderings of the new 6, are there actual pictures out there? I have to say the old 6 looked okay to me when it first came out, but over the last few years it really started to look dated. I was never really a huge fan of the 6 though. The new 7 is gorgeous though I have to say, had to opportunity to drive a 750Li on a 500 mile road trip and it drove like a dream.

I think the pictures I saw are actual photos. They were on the homepage of bimmerpost recently..too much bling for me. My point was that the old 6 was a big car. It's meant to be a big car. I don't get why that guy was so repulsed by the idea that the new 6 will also be a "boat" as he put it. I agree the new 7 looks very nice.

Because the cars keep getting bigger... That another reason why I liked the 1... Thats why I brought up the new 6... Oh ya I love the new 7...
