Can I have the motor after you're done with it? Can't let it that V10 go to waste now

If I worked at BMW, I'd just laugh at this and move on lol. What an idiot.

Bad dealership services ruined the all reputation.
A good brand name are about the good design, manufacturing, marketing, and service too. The whole brand gets damaged by even just few ugly services. To the customers, there are no 99% satisfaction such thing. Just good or bad. How many people spread their satisfaction with the car and services all around? A few. How many people spread their complaints with the car and services when they screwed? Most. Am I right? ![]() |

Meh. Who cares.
All the used, high mileage M6s around here driven by ghetto 20-something kids are ruined far worse than this car. At least it's not on chrome wheels from Auto Zone. |

That stupid smug look on his face makes me feel like he's just acting like some spoiled wealthy brat who is acting out in a way that doesn't hurt him financially, but he knows most people couldn't afford to do what he is doing.

I wonder if BMW marketing execs at the show caught wind of the this? No matter, this would have to go much deeper than marketing. It's the bean counters who oversee R&D that are accountable for subpar quality in the long run. On top of BMW's corporate culture of being very arrogant.

This is so sad. Its almost like the M6 represents a child caught up in a spat between divorcing parents. I didn't imagine that watching someone destroy his own property would be so traumatic. I hope I never have to watch something like this again. Let's hope BMW will get the message. Videos like this go viral and the reputational damage is something that takes years to work back (especially since thats one car that happens to carry your brand's highest profit margins).

Probably a little over the top but to be honest I get where the guy is coming from. The BMW dealers here in Ireland are the most arrogant and ignorant ( in terms of knowledge ) that I have ever ever met. Recently bought a late 2011 520d msport and after going to numerous BMW dealers and after being treated like a fool and being given info that I knew wasn't true I decided to buy a 5 from a Lexus dealer. Such a nice experience compared to the BMW muppets. BMW dealers in Ireland anyway need to start looking after the enthusiast first and the "suit" second..... (I wear a suit everyday to work but you get my meaning)...

I was considering the next M3, however, I'm again reminded about my horrible HPFP failures and service in the past. Hope BMW isn't laughing too hard-- a Porsche might be in my garage instead.

First off that video is pretty amusing. Secondly I think this guys actually helping us all out a little bit and he's got some balls to do what he did. Sometimes I wanna smash my headlights to protest all the f30s that have halogens!

I was totally waiting for the axe to pop back and cut him. He will be at his local orthopod the next day. In all seriousness though, if he was that frustrated and wealthy then why not. At least he didn't go postal and shoot up a dealership or corporate office.

LOL,
Yes this guy had issues, but lets not forget the power of the internet. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy has a big youtube channel or a website or something work related that this video would represent. Then he can write of the car for tax purposes and destroy it. I truly can't imagine someone doing that if he wasn't getting something out of it. If someone has that much money they would have just traded it in for a new one, but i can understand ones frustrations. Who really knows, but this seems more like a ploy than anything since they planned it all out. I'm guessing he needed a tax write off and his car was the target for its insubordination and malfunctions ![]()

The guy is an idiot. So what if he has had major problems, what does he think BMW are gonna do by smashing the crap out of his car? Answer, nothing. They got his money, they have nothing more to gain.
He would of been better off covering it with signs outlining his problems for all to see. All this fool has done is create more problems for himself! |
