Great pictures.
Have been there many times. It is always still the same with humans - they always desire those things and places what they not have currently. I wanna drive in the US a road trip but I live very close to the dolomites. Or many times I wanna drive 150 MP/h on the German Autobahn. US citizens wanna drive in my country or in other countries in europe. Unfortunately never seen any US plates (except four or five in ten years) in my country. I would be happy to see some nice modded US-BMWs on our streets. |

I have done a 3 weeks roadtrip throught the alps from austria to france in a convertible with my lady some years ago. I rate it one of the greatest things you can do on this planet....and I have done some nice things allready
I can only encourage every car enthusiast to try to do this at least once in a lifetime. Me personally was there 5 weeks ago. Next Trip: september Rocky Mountains = good for camptruck. Iceland highlands = good for jeep. Alps = good for sportscar |

Looks great , I've cycled from the foot of lake Garda North up and over the stelvio and back down to Garda. Four day and 400 miles, this year I'm driving from the uk and will do a similar trip albeit in the m5 :-) Can't wait..

Thanks for sharing your adventure! My wife and I enjoyed a wonderful week long stay in Trento/Bolzano/Castelrotto in 2004. Magical place indeed.

Awesome pictures. Would love to do a trip like this, somehow it just wouldn't be the same in a rental car though. Have you done tours with people from North America dack? Whats their experience been like if so?
cheers |
