But seriously, just getting out of the house was a big mental pick me up. Just riding and a change of scenery. We didn't get out or come in contact with anybody. I guess we could work in the yard, but the pollen is so bad here that being outside for an hour screws your allergies up for 2-3 days.

I bought a Raspberry pi v4. I intend to set up a Ubuntu 18.04 server firewall with it. It's a little bit of a learning curve since I know little about Linux.

Cleaning up my home office so it's presentable for online meetings.
I ordered a 4K Apple TV and a 4k 40" TV since it looks like I'll be doing a lot of indoor riding this year. The 4th Gen Apple TV I have now and the crappy Walmart special TV made it very pixelated. Time to step up my game, so to speak. Also bought a 16-port switch to clear up the birds nest of smaller switches and cabling in my office. I have a nice shelf unit coming from Home Depot this week to mount everything on. I figure if this is going to be my place of occupation for a few months or more, it needs to be up to snuff.

At the moment I am watching Up In Smoke. Haven't seen this in years! Ah the memories.

Started slow in the home office today, but then it built up and before I knew it, it was seriously better. I still need to swap in a new APC battery backup and get rid of an old Pentium III dual processor server that's been sitting beside my desk for a decade. My shelf for my modem/router/switch should be here on Wednesday, so that will allow me to really clean things up. Maybe by my Thursday Teams meeting I can actually use video for the first time.

As I mentioned before, I have a 40" 4k TV coming later this week. I was going to bring the shitty 32" Vizio into my office just to have a TV in there. I was planning on using the top of a bookcase where my network gear sits now, once I move that stuff off onto the new shelf unit I have coming. But the bookcase is against the same wall as my desk, so I won't have a very good angle to see my TV. I'm thinking about a wall mount swing arm, but I am downright incompetent when it comes to mounting something like that.
Can you just do the whole stud-finder bit to set up a wall mount swing arm? I just successfully used a new stud-finder to mount some bicycle hangers in my garage, so I'm pretty confident the one I have works. But screwing up the garage wall and screwing up my home office wall are two very different things.
