Hopefully Lakers can be the 8th seed, and make the playoffs. I'm a Knicks fan watching my team fall apart. With that said, my favorite player is KOBE. I enjoy the way he plays the game, especially in crunch time. Good luck Laker fans.

I don't think James undercut Granger, he was obviously moving out of the way as soon as he can. I don't think James is a dirty player.

Kind of expected him to play, but think he'd be better off resting a game. If he does play tonight, I think he should rest one of the games next week or at least play limited minutes....doubt that happens though.

As far as throwing his leg during shots, well Kobe does not do that to draw fouls if that's what you're implying. They don't call that anymore, but even when they did, I can't recall of a single instance where Kobe drew a foul in that manner. Throwing of the leg is more of his natural shooting motion. In the third quarter of that game, he did it multiple times. This doesn't mean that he's trying to create space....if you glance threw youtube, I'm sure you'll find plenty of instances when Kobe's leg comes up with the defender no where to be found. Now is that a foul on Kobe? It's not called so it doesn't really matter. If they did call that on Kobe, I'm sure he'd reform nice and quick. |

Wow, Lakers.
I am in no way shape or form a Lakers fan...never have...never will be but DAMN, I gave them 0% chance of straight up beating the Pacers today especially in Indiana. Mainly because it's hard to win in Indiana and Kobe wasn't ruled out before game time. That and I saw the Pacers had a W, L, W, L trend going on and tonight they were due for a L, but that shit's all superstition lol Didn't watch the game, but some one must have stepped up...when a superstar is out it always seems like the bench or some unknown steps up and has a killer game. If Kobe played the whole game I highly doubt the Lakers would have come out with a W tonight.

Oh, and what great timing to face some of the leagues worst teams coming up.
Kings/Suns/Washington... Man, it's like the NBA drew this up. Some how, some way, the Lakers crawl in and make the play off's. The hilarity.

That's no guarantee that the Lakers will win those games... They have a tendency to play to their competition's level.

It's either this season or last season, I don't remember, but the league has implemented the new rule that you cannot stick your feet under someone's landing spot when they're in the air.
The league also came out to apologize for the no-call because the refs missed it. They acknowledged that it's suppose to be a foul. So the only argument now is if it's a dirty play. I don't know if anyone heard Bruce Bowen's comments on that play, but even he suggested that it's a dirty play. So...league says it's a foul, and one of the most dirty player in the league history even thinks it's a dirty play, it says a lot. |

While his shot can be inconsistent, his passing and smart decision making aren't.

Blake does have a herky jerky release, so it's no wonder that he is a streaky shooter.
Blake has been playing well, but do think the lakers over payed a bit. If blake wasn't signed for 4 years, the lakers could of kept sessions. |
