It bothers me bc it may be true. Her husband had a double brain aneurism. Fast forward 2 years and they divorced bc he has been brainwashed by his family and doesn’t know his wife was there for him every single day while he was in a coma and the hospital. I’m fucking numb. My mom passed away Monday morning. I’m sad she’s gone but glad she’s gone. Dad passed last year and it was a shock, out of left field. We were “prepared” for mom but she struggled. So sorry to hear that - I watched my grandfather die slowly over several years, where he mentally did not know where he was 95% of the time or who was with him, but the odd time he did. He was a tough old scotsman, but I saw him cry a lot during those years when he had a moment of lucidity because he was so miserable. It was a relief in a way to see him go, but sad because I believe he was not saved.

The slow struggle is so hard on the caregivers, I hope you remember all the good times and are able to take a break after this.

My sincerest condolences. I lost my mom, dad and step-dad over a 2 year period. It is very tough to digest to say the least.
