That is lower than low. Find a new company.

I do sort of wonder whether there could be any legal repurcussions if one were to tamper with their own lunch, clearly marked as their property? Like coating it with some sort of colon cleanser or something...dude then gets some violent diarreaha at least. I think poisoning your lunch probably would be a bit far so I'm not suggesting that...but colon prep or whatever...perhaps ok?

Or you could put some ghost peppers on the sandwich...all chopped up nicely so it doesn't look like peppers.

And then just leave it for a few days waiting for the office thief to strike again.

I don’t know, but someone had a good Boar's head sandwich on my expense. I got to drive in the rain to pick up another one.

I just filled up on gas and the woman next to me spent a full minute trying to squeeze extra gas into her tank after the pump stopped automatically.

All I hear is "*clank* (initial auto-stop)......*clank*...*clank*..*clank*.*clank*..*cl ank*..*clank*..*clank*..*clank*..*clank*..*clank*. .*clank*..*clank*..*clank*..*clank*..*clank*..*cla nk*..*clank*..*clank*.."

Yeah, I counted. She engaged the gasoline nozzle an additional 18 times.

I have a WHITE coworker who is into ASIAN superstitions... 8 is a prosperous number in Chinese culture, so every time he fuels up it's in increments of 8 and he always pays by credit, so to get it to $8.88 or $16.88 (168 resembles "roadway to prosperity"), so I have to sit through that too

You know, the more I think about it, the more I think there probably could be legal ramifications...even if marked as your property. Especially in 'Merica!

I remember in high school law class sadly learning that you cannot dig pits on your property for others to fall into. Apparently this is not an acceptable use of your property.

Would they not have to prove that he wanted it on his sandwich for his enjoyment? To prove intent there would be difficult, I think.

Sales people who are basically unable to communicate within a reasonable amount of time. One of the manufacturers that we work with (we are resellers) has a rep that takes somewhere between 2 and 3 times as long as anybody else I have ever encountered. It has gotten to the point that I just email/call his boss so that I can get the answers that I need faster. Best part is, he gets pissed if you don't respond to him that day for something.

Fortunately for me all of our sales reps are in house. I learned never to email these guys for anything if you expect a response. If I need an answer I walk right in there office.

Probably an honest mistake?

We went to lunch with a vendor, and there were way too many apps ordered. I can't waste food, and so I brought back my veal cutlet (real deal) sandwich. Decided to freeze it so it would survive the commute home, and forgot all about it. 2 years later I remembered it, microwaved it, and it was delish.

With this guy I have given up on trying to communicate to him at all and just go to his boss who gets me exactly what I need. I can call/email/text him (all 3 would normally happen) and still not get a response for an extended period of time. Given that I have a prior working relationship with his boss, it's easier to just go and get it done than have to mess around with. It has even gotten to to point that his boss shows up for meetings with me when I need a manufacturer rep there.
