This is why TX is getting really attractive. There are many tech companies going into TX, and their cost of living is far lower than anywhere.
Earn less and live like a king. I earned much more in Los Angeles, and live like a peasant. I don't live like a king here, but I do live like an middle class.

Better, but not easier.
In S.CA, they are naive. All people have to do is accidentally drop the bank/money market statement, and they will put themselves on the silver platter. With that and fairly decent sense of humor, S.CA gals are extremely easy (pretty, smart, educated, good career gals included).

I recall recently something along the lines of God promising a perfect, demure, real woman in every corner of the world,
Then he made it round. |

Prior to this awakening, I had thought that some things happened for no reason at all. But in the end, you realize that everything, no matter what it is, happens for some explainable reason. Girls with daddy issues being consoled by their best friends while crying for the myriad of reasons they cry for have been told this for years. |

It was like finding needle in a haystack, but I did it. Quote:
I am seriously thinking to get the heck out of CO, because my hypertension and severe RA started when I lived here. I went back to Los Angeles for few weeks, and my BP went down to normal, and my joint pain disappeared. I am looking at a house next HOA down, and it is not even near close to that San Antonio house. Cost 2x more too. Since, I am a fan of financing, I am going to wait it out a little. House needs Some landscaping which i can do, but basement needs to be done too.

Glad to hear you don't want to be here. Please tell other people not to move here as well. It seems many people have discovered the paradise that is the front range of CO and started moving here in droves over the last several years causing traffic and the cost of living to dramatically increase.

I'm experiencing this first hand. Was offered a near 6-figure salary in OC. Budgeting things as a single, no kids, and living alone is a tad difficult. Still gonna take the job since I grew up in SoCal and pay-raise is simply a cost-of-living adjustment to what I make now.
