You don't think it's the slightest bit funny that a guy wants to buy an expensive wallet with money he doesn't have?

What if that was the key to a 30 bedroom estate, that would make it even better.

Go for the Louis vuitton. The quality of the material will literally last for years...i bought the same Damier Canvas wallet a year ago and it was a great $400 investment as the wallet still looks brand new and still smells like canvas..Nothing for that price range beats the attention to detail LV gives to its products.

sure buying an expensive wallet seems like a waste.. but its not when u factor in how long it will hold up like new compared to a shitty duck tape one.

of the two.. ur a guy so id pick LV because burburry for a guy? not unless its black burburry. but IMO.. i agree with Kroy..

get an armani wallet. its still shows u want quality but its not as *HELLO IM EXPENSIIIVE* as LV (because its more incognito in most cases.. its less loud) and you have more choices then the mongrammed LV wallets will allow for.

one of the major problems with this country my friend. No disrespect to the OP, it is his money and he chooses what to do with it. I believe Jaiman posted this earlier, but its the proverbial spending above your means! If you have to save up for a luxury wallet (which is not a necessity) you should not be buying it.

I think I paid 10$ for a leather wallet on my honeymoon cruise in Encenada about 2.5 years ago.. and I thought that was too much.

No need for anything else for me.

Both are ostentatious patterns I don't like. I've had Gucci, and a Ferragamo. Both were solid soft black leather. One was stolen and I lost the other. Stopped the expensive wallet thing after that.

Currently using a Cole Haan that was a bargain compared to those two but great.

Saving to buy an expensive wallet?

Before I even clicked on the thread, I said to myself, "This guy must be from California."

Still not sure if OP is a guy though...this thread is so gay!

A wallet is now an investment?

You smell your wallet?

Oh yeah...California again. Strange place.

Gonzo, please tell me this is not an actual advertisement for clothes or something. Do people really dress like this??? Do some guys really have legs that look like hairy girl legs? Maybe this is the NAMBLA poster boy?
