oh please, you guys act like you won the national championship....
You haven't beaten us since 2003, we still own you, gloat now but UW always wishes you're in OSU's position. You should try to stop losing to teams like Northwestern, Michigan, Penn State, MSU, Iowa..etc, you get the idea. You always play 4th fiddle in the Big Ten and when Nebraska comes in next year, you're probably looking at a Big Ten title once every 10 years. Oh yeah, the goal every year should not be to winning the Outback or Capital One bowl... OSU's goal every year is to play in the National Championship game, big difference in programs don't you think? Last edited by mdosu; 10-17-2010 at 10:44 AM.. |

Oh be a good sport, it's a big win for us. Wejust knocked you off your pedestal of #1, if it was the other way around I'd expect you to feel the same way. Its payback for 2008 when we thought we had a chance for at least a rose bowl anyway. Even if the last time we beat you was 1905 it doesn't matter, we beat u this year and until next fall we get to hold it over your heads.
I've had to endour countless bashings from MSU fans, I'm taking my frustration out on you guys now... Just the way it works. When u beat u of m you can do the same to them. |

I hope no one gloats about beating us. It's not quite an accomplishment anymore, especially for a team that's competing for a National Championship. I tell you what though, when I was watching the Wisconsin-OSU game, it was incredible how solid the two teams were with the fundamentals. It just really blows me away, after watching Michigan try to tackle or execute fundamentally basic plays, to see UW and OSU execute and tackle like that.... It's just sad to see how dreadfully far behind Michigan has fallen in areas where we used to compete for the benchmark. Disgusting even.

Thank god Penn State doesn't play Wisconsin this year. It would be like the Matt Bernstein show all over again...

I am loathe to say our defense "let us down". We were calling the correct defensive schemes and UW never had any real big plays aside from the initial kick-off return. The problem was the same problem people had with Ron Dayne or Jerome Bettis or even Brandon Jacobs....trying to bring down a 255-265lb running back is not easy with a decent/good O-line...even if you have a good D-line...mathematically without bringing the safety's up for every play the offense will have that advantage. I take nothing from Udub...they just got us this year...c'est l'avie. We still have a winning record against them

Wisc is the most dangerous with a lead, b/c once the running backs get 4 yards a carry, your team's possession times will be diminished significantly. Every Ohio State -Wisc has been similar since at least 1993 where each team lines up their running backs and take turn punching each other in the face. It's brutal, but it's Big Ten football at it's best, that's why teams like Miami, Stanford, UCLA couldn't beat Wisc, they don't have the size to beat them in this manner. I would love to see a Wisc v. Oregon match up, Oregon would only have 6 possessions on offense for the whole game! The problem is, this style of offense makes it difficult to come back from behind. Unless the right players are in place like Lee Evans and Chris Chambers who can keep the safeties honest. |

Since I am not a huge fan and I don't follow what all the NCAA teams are doing, I may not have the savvy of you all. I do know that Boise State Broncos have pulled off some amazing things over these last several years.
Who could have realistically expected that the Broncos would beat the Sooners at the Fiesta Bowl? They did it in a truly memorable game. Who would have thought the Broncos would play, and then win another Fiesta Bowl? Yet they did. The last two times the Broncos played the number 2 ranked school (Ducks), they beat them. On any given game day, anything can happen. Boise State has had an incredible winning streak lasting for years. Until they are knocked off, how can their success be simply attributed to an easy schedule? If they keep winning, they should appear in another BCS bowl game this year. That makes a nice pedigree lasting a few years. If they go undefeated this year, they are at the very least doing what they must do. It's unfortunate that their ultimate measure of success must rely upon ALL others having a less than perfect record. As for a third match between BSU and TCU for the championship, I would rather see BSU in a different BCS bowl playing a BCS team. Playing TCU again would just give fuel to the haters that say they are not winning against the authentic best teams. I don't expect BSU to pull it off, but they have surprised me time and again. Boise State Broncos! |

^ you realize that the margin of error for BSU is razor thin? If they look bad in 1 game and they'll NEVER get into a BCS bowl again in the BCS era. I have a feeling this year, people will not have any problems giving them another BCS bowl even the championship game.

Was bored over the weekend and put together a little video about FSU. I noticed at the very beginning there is a split second between the plane scenes where there is a ref. I must not have trimmed enough off when editing, but it's too late now and I'm not going to go back and fix the whole thing for that one little part...
