If you can plug in your iphone via your USB port in the CENTER console (6FL option), the steering wheel button will work. Heck stuff will also pop up on the idrive.

No I am in the US. I just didn't want to wait till the summer for this so I ordered it from Germany.

getbmwparts doesn't have it in stock does it?

I just had mine installed in my BMW for €245,- (in Holland). I will sell the 4S one for €75,- so what's the big deal? Either buy it or don't, I for one am quite pleased with it. If I want cheap I will get a Kia with a Samsung phone 😎

I got it too. Bought it online for EUR222 and installed it myself. Was about $280 on PayPal when converted.

I find these threads complaining about the price being 400 euros to be completely ridiculous. No nobody pays MSRP for anything.

It is probably just an oversight, but on all the documentation I've seen, the F30 3 series is not included in the compatibility list. It's about the only car that is left out. Does anyone know for sure that it does work with the F30s?

It works with any car that has 6NR features.

If so, is there a preferred dashboard mount for the F30 (2013 328), with which I can actually see and use the iPhone display, as well as the dashboard screen and all the controls?

Are we certain there is no antenna connector in the Lightning Connector? I know it's not mentioned on the wiki, but I looked at the pinout for the 30-pin, and I didn't see any pins explicitly defined for the antenna.

I can confirm this thing is pretty useless right now. No video playback (already knew that), snap in music function is not working. Even the external antenna seems to be not working. Waste of money.

and a Proclip mount over the hot air vents, in two pieces for ~$100, which both fixes the cables in place and doesn't block the windshield
