That is a beautiful car!

I have to agree with you completely, and with your freak convertible ways, you'd look like some dude from Nevada in a hornet convertible. Also, 24 times have the boys in blue shown me their nice light setup, so hornet sure as hell is not the way to go. Do the black on SO. In a midlife crises car, that works, sine you won't get the cf roof anyway.

Cheers, losing Tessa was a hit, he kept me safe, and on my toes always. I loved my old lady.

Thank you for the moral support (and the freak convertible ways - taken as a compliment). The wind in the (remaining) hair is a nice way to pronounce the word f-r-e-e-d-o-m.

BTW, how did you like that tire repair kit that comes with the car? Any good?

Haha, the thing didnt go flat, though the bloody thing went and did a hole indeed. It however made me consider getting an other kit in the car too.

I wrote the last entries there, so if you have the URL, go read. Not posting it here since I haven't taken photos out of it.

Ps. The one time when I'm on the topic of cars even a bit, I do it in ot. I'm proud of this tendency.

Try voice recognition. Just like the one that comes with all BMW cars. Makes you feel good that someone out there actually listens to what you're saying and does as you say. Perfect for married people.

Not sure if bikers would be that kind to me, like they were to you. I'd rather rely on the repair kit. After three generations of cars with run flats, this will be a major change. I don't like the idea to have to fiddle with the kit when the thermometer hits 115F and I'm on my way to work. With run flats, I always get to where I'm going and worry about the repair later. Had four or five flats in less than 8 years and RFTs were a true blessing.

Joke of the morning! LOL

Nah, autocorrect plus no physical keyboard gets me all the time. Its pathetic, I never check the written before entering it.

You are probably the only person on earth who likes those. With my puncture episode it was merely entertainment. I scared bikers and I got it fixed, so hell with the rest. Oh, because of that, I now know not to go to a burger king to eat again. Educational shit as you can see.

Just to try to respect the ot forum, unlike I do with our play ground, let me add, that I hate school zones. I get the idea, I love the idea, but for fuck sake, teach the kids how to act in traffic instead of turning them into idiots.

I just can not take Washington. I miss the road so bad today.

Man, with the reception to the E92 in late '06, you would have thought BMW could have come up with something unbelievable for 2014. Sorry, not feeling it. Every BMW now has that trademark Mazda flat nose, it's uncanny. Those folks who bought E92 M3's new, lucky bastards.

Note to new parents: If you goo-goo talk to your kid for more than 20 seconds while you have company over, your Friends Without Kids (FWOKs) will abandon you. If you're goo-goo talking to your kid in public, everyone within earshot is cringing.

We were at a restaurant today where some super annoying Brit woman was goo-goo talking to her kid very loudly for 20 minutes or more. Drove me nuts. To make matters worse, the Brit family behind us (Mom, Dad, kids, and Grandma) sat there chatting away normally while Grandma was head down on the table feeling awful. Then Grandma says she's going to be sick. There is a restroom 20 feet away, but Dad goes and finds a small trash bin so Grandma can barf into it right that the table. IN A RESTAURANT! I was like "WTF is with you Brits??!!?" If Grandma is that sick, take her home!! But for God's sake, don't just sit there watching her toss her lunch while other people are sitting around you trying to enjoy theirs.

School buses, propane trucks, and anyone else who is required by law to stop at CONTROLLLED Railroad crossings. How many more kids have died from being in a bus the got smashed from behind than those who have been smashed by a train at a RR xing with control arms?

Oh, about 39.. A fast moving train takes FOREVER to stop. Sometimes either the gate/signal fails or a surprising amount of vehicles fails/stalls on a train track, and an 8 foot car can zip across or have less damage than a 40 foot bus with much more people on it, plus slower acceleration no matter how powerful the engine is. Take it from someone who has driven an 18-wheeler AND helped his father pass his Class B exam (he was a transit bus driver at one point)

My personal favorite is when we have meetings about our previous meetings.....

Everyone is always late, some don't show up, some sit there with a blank look on their face...., it's amazing things actually get accomplished.

People in restaurants (usually women) who play a one-upmanship game of medical issues of people they know. Our breakfast this morning was made considerably less enjoyable by two American women sitting next to us who expounded, in great detail, about all the cancer and heart procedures their elderly relatives had suffered through.

Which leads me to a sub-peeve. I hate restaurants that have tables for two set so closely together that you may as well be sharing a larger table with two strangers. And this is at a very pricey hotel outside Heathrow. For all the class and ambiance this place tries to project, it's been the worst place we've stayed on this trip.

You might be able to tell that I'm sick of living out of a suitcase and I'm ready to go home. Flight is in 8 hours.

OMG the bench seats at some restaurants where you literally sit next to the other group of people. I hate those with a passion! Especially when you get a group of women next to you. FFS just STFU for two seconds!!!!

Pisses me off when people on the freeway come up on me real fast (when I have my cruise control on), and I get over for them so they pass me... and THEN they slow down, so I have to pass them. Never mind, I have not changed my speed at all. Then they keep repeating! Then I'll get irritated and just FLOOR it, up to 120, leaving them in the dust, half a mile back. Then the next thing you know, they're BAAAACK! And you just know they totally had to redline their little Chevy to catch back up to you. I mean, "WTF is your problem!? Can't you drive your own speed?"
