Great kid shots, Litos. How about some info on the setting. Your house or a studio?

it's not really a studio, more like the 4th upstairs bedroom we have about 8 different rolls of paper for back drops and 2 different types of flooring. one wood floor with crown molding and one "vintage" wood flooring that makes it look like it's peeling - it's called Barnwood Floor and it's made out of that same material that mouse pads are made out of. here's a picture with the wood flooring and grey background. |

That's cool! How can afford this (money & time-wise)?

That's pretty cool. The floor with the gray background you can tell is fake. But the peeling one looks real enough. How big is it?
EDIT: Oops, never mind; just saw your more recent shot.

yeah, if you really look at the wood flooring you can tell it's fake because it kind of flexes since it's on the carpet.
the peeling floor doesn't flex so it looks more real. |

Perfect lighting in those pics, though. Nicely done.

every time we go in there, we take a couple of test shots - we get it right after about 4 or 5 shots and then we REALLY start the photoshoot.
thank man |

luckily...my hk/tk trip was for work, just in my weekend time i managed to get around the city and see everything I could in a small period of time
as for the 1/1.5 month plan....ha...figuring that one out! I have a little bit of time off to take, but hoping that I can loop some work trips out to have a personal trip tail to them (this only is feasible if the flight cost is identical irregardless of return day...I just book a hotel for myself on my dime) i want to hit up spain, france, germany, and amsterdam soon...wouldnt mind heading back to tokyo again sometime this year or hk again to get out a bit more

Bingo. Back in the 70's we stayed there when it was a campground. Now it's just a state park. Still a cool place. The "pool" is an enclosed spring. That image is the outlet into the river. VERY cool scuba diving location.
