Do you really think the Bulls will beat the Heat in a 7 game series? Basically, no one showed up to play yesterday on the Heat. Even Lebron didn't show up until the 4th quarter. Wade and Bosh was a no show. Battier, Allen, and Chalmers missed open 3's. Udonis Haslem and Chalmers missed key free throws. They will show up next game.

I can't find any other 4th quarter stats by player. But this shows that even though it was 5 years ago+, lebron was still clutch in the 4th quarter in Cleveland. Shooting even higher percentage than Kobe.

Nice stats from how long ago? Also lebeon doesn't shot, he can't, he just drives it because he knows he'll get a call. That's why his FG% is higher than everyone on that out-dated list

And I will add that if the dumbass management would not have hired DAntoni and would have hired Phil that DH would be signing with the Lakers. Hate to say it but folks don't seem to like playing for DAntoni. Best they can do is fire sale this year. Have a crappy season and get a new coach and a top free agent the following year.

Not a big dwight fan, but still disappointed he didn't sign.
I get the immaturity comments and all the rest, but signing dwight would help prevent a long rebuilding process. Sure they have a ton of cap space in '14, but all their "stars" might be gone by that time and they have no young pieces or draft picks. Other than being the Lakers, they don't have much draw for free agents IMO. Having dwight in tow would easily help draw marquee names next summer. Oh and gotta love Kobe, but can't help but wonder what he was thinking when he was trying to recruit DH. Its like he was obviously pushing him away with those comments. We had glimpse of what these pieces could do at the end of the year....just too bad it never came to fruition. So F dwight howard lol....but I'll respect him for giving up $30 mil for a younger and better fit in houston. |

Never heard the comments but doesn't surprise me that everyone will try and blame Kobe for them not getting DH. Lots of Kobe haters out there.
Well it will now be up to DH to prove himself now. Moving from team to team to grab that elusive championship. Always the "others" taking the blame why he can't be successful and get a ring. Time will tell now.

I'm a big kobe fan, but when I read the comments....you knew it wasn't going to help.
“You need to learn how it’s done first, and I can teach you here,” Bryant reportedly told Howard during the Lakers presentation. http://tracking.si.com/2013/07/04/dw...e-lakers-saga/ There's nothing really wrong with that statement, but have to consider who you're talking to. Oh and I for one think the DH/kobe relationship drama was overblown. They seemed to get along okay on the court....a decent working relationship I thought. |

I still just don't see whats wrong with that statement. DH hasn't sniffed a championship and Kobe has just a few. The Rockets are dreaming if they think that a few good players is all you need. I say if they stay healthy they will lose in the second round of the playoffs at best.

Dwight Howard is still too immature to help lead a team to a championship, he proved that through the season, and in the series against the Spurs. The combination of Howard, Chandler, Harden isn't going to be some new powerhouse in the West. I would be very surprised if they got past the 1st round.

Plus, the Lakers had their chance to win a championship with Howard and Kobe last season but were stuck being a below .500 team 3/4 of the regular season. IMO, it is time for the Lakers to rebuild. They lost almost all the pieces from the champion team. No Phil Jackson, no good center, injured Kobe. Might as well do what Celtics did... That's what all the Heat haters said when Lebron and Bosh joined forces to play with Wade. Everyone said that they wouldn't stand a chance because it takes a team to win a champion. But the first season they were already a contender. I'm not saying that the Rockets are definitely a contender with the addition of Howard but they are a lot better with Howard. With an addition of a better PG and power forward to play along side with Harden, they will definitely be a contender, IMO. The whole Rocket team right now is just filled with a bunch of role player minus Harden. If Howard joined GSW, they would definitely be a contender especially with all the 3 pointers surrounding him. Klay Thompson, Steph Curry, Harrison Barnes, David Lee, Howard. That would be one of the best starting 5 in the league, IMO. |
