Another great drummer that stands out to me is the late Neil Peart from Rush. I am not a huge Rush fan but recognize what a talent he was, as are the other guys in the group.

Myself also not that familiar with Rush though I have listened to their music sometimes, a little offbeat with me. I'll listen in a bit more to recognise Peart's input when he was performing with them.

He's great in the clip you posted!

Looked up Buddy Rich and watched his 'Impossible Drum Solo in HQ' wow he was another master of his profession.
