Why bother asking? I'm sure BMW will release it all types of variants to fill in the needs - coupe, sedan, GC, GT, convertible, hatchback, AT, X2...am I missing anything else?

2series 4dr GC will sell me. My sister still drives around a e46 and I love that size/shape. Still looks great and classic.
New 3/4 series is far too bloated. |

What is the difference between a 4-door "coupe" and a 4-door sedan?

While some are saying it should be called a sedan, i'm completely ok with the marketing terminology if it means the sleeker GC look. I want a 4 door car that looks like a coupe. If it ends up looking like another boring sedan then I'm not interested. It always makes me chuckle that you take the 3, pay more to remove the rear doors and make it a coupe, then pay more to add them back as a gran coupe But the 4GC looks way better than the 3. Today I was at the Nurburgring, mostly Bimmers an Porkers..........just shocking to see how big the current generation M3/4 is, how fat it has grown...
So for me there is one thing important, one thing only; BMW needs a smaller, lighter and more sportier version in their brand ASAP. I do not care how its called, BMW has to go more "old school" IMHO Bigger ain`t better Bigger ain`t more beautiful Bigger does not steer or drive better Bigger does`t feel better (maybe your wife thinks different about this one) but I mean driving the car |

[QUOTE=Ramos;18686409]People barely fit in 3 series? Really? Lol!!
In most countries outside the U.S., the 3 series is a huge car, I wasn't able to get into any underground parkings in Paris when I euro delivered my E90 I spent several weeks in Spain last year. A 1 series was mid sized. Parking a Polo sized car was about right, though the White towns in southern Spain, particularly Arcos de la Frontera was awkward in even that car... "Excuse me... Is this a road? Or a sidewalk?" Ha! Tourist... Marc |

Coupé-not Couoe. Terms been around for awhile not not referring to a 2dr.
4-dr sedan has a trunk. A 4dr couoé seems to have a hatch (see Panamera, the A7, the 4GC. Etc although the Mercedes breaks that definition. Lol. They can call them whatever they want it seems.
