Anyone use a Trekz Titanium headset? They're big in the cycling community because they leave your ears open to outside noise, like cars. I don't wear them while cycling, but I use them to watch videos at night when Wifey is sleeping. They're not top notch gear if you're a true audiophile, but with my lousy hearing and tinnitus, they work fine. I'd have to think in a gym environment they'd be ok since high-end music quality isn't necessarily critical while working out.

if (huge if) i go running outside, then i use power beats.
but inside the gym, i use the wireless studio beats. they are huge headphones for sure, but they are surprisingly light, and i dunno why, but people stopped randomly coming up to me asking questions when i wear them instead of smaller ear buds like the power beats.

I have Bose qc35 headphones, studio beats wireless, Powerbeats 3 and Powerbeats pro. In the gym I use Powerbeats pro the most. I like the wire free wireless. But I prefer the sound and fit of the Powerbeats 3, just the wire between the ear pieces gets in the way sometimes doing CrossFit stuff.

I use my apple airpods to workout with. Every now and again those are dead and need to use my Bose QC IIs. With that said I hate wearing them because I sweat so much. Feel like I'm going to destroy the pads over time.

I don't always wear ear buds while working out. Most times I just beat box the entire session.
When I decide I need music and don't feel like beat boxing, I use a set of Jabra Elite 75t. I had a pair of studio beats at one point. I liked the sound quality, but they were pretty bulky. i wouldn't dare say a negative thing about beats though. Wouldn't want Andre Young mistaking me for Dee Barnes. |

Powerbeats Pro! Classic apple integration but never fall out, even while climbing/falling, and the battery life is amazing. Had mine for 3+ years and still get 6+ hours without putting them back in the case
