Diana Fox - Running on Empty :rocks: :rocks:
Now that's a song to get you going. If you're a fan of dance/trance music, please give that a song a listen, you won't regret it. Man, I could spend a whole week coming up with stuff.... I'll just give one or two per genre that I think are songs that would pump you up when driving.... some oldies, but goodies (that are loosely car/driving related): DANCE/TRANCE: ATB - Don't Stop, Darude - Sandstorm, Nalin and Kane - Just Cruisin' .... oh man, I could keep on going in this category CLASSICAL: Handel - Royal Fireworks Overture COUNTRY: Alabama - I'm in a Hurry, Shania Twain - I'm Gonna Getcha Good ALTERNATIVE: Blink 182 - Feelin This' (Action), LifeHouse - Spin HIP HOP: R. Kelley - Ignition Remix, Nelly - Ride Wit Me, LL Cool J - Hush RAP: Jay-Z - Money Ain't a Thing, Ludacris - Move Bitch HEAVY METAL/ROCK: Andrew W.K. - We Want Fun AMERICAN POP: Eagle-Eye Cherry - Save Tonight, KOREAN POP: HoT - Candy MANDARIN POP: Sun Yan Zi - Green Light CANTONESE: Kelly Chan - Flower Universe SPANISH POP: Belinda - Lo Siento, Christina Aguilera - Ven conmigo More recent songs I've been enjoying in the car: David Banner - Play Frankie J - How to Deal Trey Songz feat Twista - Gotta make it Bow Wow - Let Me Hold You Down Pretty Ricky - Your Body Ok, don't judge too critically... these are just the ones that popped in my head as I was thinking about this. |

I've heard some interesting "somewhat" new songs...I've been watching AMC a lot recently, and they keep playing
"What are you afraid of" by West Indian Girl...I really like that song!!! Then of course, I just heard Tears for Fears' new one "Closest thing to heaven"...that's a pretty good song. Hard to believe they're still around. Also from the UK, I really love Jack's Mannequin - The Mixed Tape. Here's just some random all-around good songs I personally enjoy listening to right now: Dave Matthews - American Baby, Crash, Grey Street Todd Rundgren - Can We Still Be Friends Steelers Wheel - Stuck In The Middle With You Seal and Crofts - Summer Breeze Franz Ferdinand - Take me out U2 - Hold me thrill me kiss me kill me, staring at the sun, one Pink Floyd - learning to fly, the great gig in the sky, have a cigar, comfortably numb Spacehog - In the Meantime Placebo - Every me and every you Nine Inch Nails - Closer Green Day - Insomniac, When I come around, Good riddance, paradise Filter - Take a picture Gin Blossoms - Follow you down Oasis - Champagne Supernova, Wonderwall, Live Forever, Stand By Me ...just to name a few! |

My friends and I ALWAYSSS cruise the freeway at night while blasting, "What Is Love" by Haddaway.
I'm not sure how the trend got started but it's our theme song when we cruise. I LOVE IT. The song never ends! mmmm repeat. A few other songs I really like when I drive.. Ashlee Simpson - Lala (The chorus makes me want to go fight somebody. I love it.) Hawthorne Heights - Ohio is for lovers LL cool j - headsprung (it's awesome even though it's old) does anyone else dance while they're driving? people always look at me funny when I'm stopped at a light and i hear a song like "headsprung" ill dance in my car. |

Does anyone ever get in the mood for really mellow, slower music? I was driving home late last night at 3:00am and I was in a mellow mood so I listened to coldplay and backstreet boys. YES, backstreet boys. |
