But still if it was me who had bassicly put my everything, into building the best bmw site in the world, blood, sweat & tears, lots of money and millions of man hours into it, I would be VERY PISSED at those two and would hunt them down. I think you're correct. I heard BMW AG was pissed off big time over the "leaked" E90 brochure. You guys may/may not remember it, but it was in german, and caused BMW AG to move things ahead. They were REALLY mad over that one. Wouldn't surprise me if they monitor this and other BMW sites looking for people leaking too much info. There's a difference between feeding speculation and full blown disclosure.

IMO, we all know the following without Tine/Speedfreaks help:

#1 Basic look of the E92
#2 New powerplant (Euro will probably get a turbo, NA will probably get more displacement). We already knew BMW had to do something about the HP on their 3'er so either development shouldn't be construde as "earth shattering".


The real question is. If we're getting a 3.5 liter for the 335, why is it only making 310 hp when the 3.2 liter in the E46M3 makes 333hp (US). Lower redline? Dif software?

Actually the leaked document was from BMW Slovenia and it wasnt in german.

It was leaked by the printers preparing the document for print

I was really debating whether to cancel my current 330i order for two
weeks because of these 2 jokers. I'm already so annoyed, just imagine If i had cancelled the order. :mad: :mad:

Now i don't care what's coming when. I am just going to ENJOY my new car and not care about anything until theres an OFFICIAL announcement from GERMANY.

I started to doubt more and more in the E92 presentation day: January 17.

Why?

On that day BMW Sauber F1 Team will reveal their car. I doubt they'll do it on a day when E92 is presented. Also NAIAS is still on till January 22.
January 17 seems very unlikely. We'll see.

But it happend before that internal BMW memo said a press release was out on day X, and that X day actually meant when press kit had been sent to media not the media appearance. And the press kit is sent approx. a week before embargo ends.

What a drama!

I got a hint Mr. Heier, Mr. Ganal, and Mr. Purves are showing E92 3er Coupe & E93 3er Cabrio to BMW NA management these days.

Meaning the two cars are in Woodcliff right now. If you really have a source there let him confirm.

I've been told that some BMW internal memo use label "335i NA" and "N54 NA" - to differ North American (specificly US) version of 335i / N54 from European one, since the N54 specs will be slightly different in US version.

Your source claiming there will be 3.5L NA engine is possibly being misled by that label - understanding 335i NA features 3.5L naturaly aspirated engine.

Just to think about!

Your source is correct on all other matters, but dead wrong on the 335i engine issue.
