Driving my stock US spec 135i on the Autobahn... even though the speedo read 155 mph(250 kph) - my GPS showed "only" 245 kph. BMW's are speed limited to 210 kph unless they have ticked the M-Sport option which includes "Speed Syncopation #840" option. Then the car is limited to 250 kph(on the speedo, real speed GPS of 245 kph!). M cars are limited to 268 kph. IF the owner goes to a M Driving School... they get a "code" where their local dealer can code the car to a higher speed limiter of 280 kph. I think a fully "open" vmax for a e9x M car is close to 300 kph. Discovered my top speed limiter wasn't 130... https://www.1addicts.com/forums/show....php?t=1283209 Later on I got a euro tune(380 PS and 520 Nm) and an open V-max... my car would do 285 kph constantly. I know a few times I went slightly faster... but I was too busy driving to dare to look down at my speedo. I think I probably was doing 290 or 295ish kph. I have friend's with tuned 135i's and they say 294 kph is the real V-max for these cars. IDK. Some "slower" vmax's for your entertainment... 274 kph driving one handed...

171 in an ISF. Car was unbelievably stable at that speed it felt like I was barely doing 100.
I really want to join the 200 club but I want to do it responsibly because I'm not trying to go to jail or put other families lives at risk |

Did not appear to take into account aero (huge impact on top speed), nor potential heat soak if FI, ambient temps, etc. Unless it does, I put very little stock in said calculator. Far more interested in real world results that people have seen. |

Hellcat in sig in Mexico. 165 MPH. Just an intake. I decided I pushed my luck far enough
However, I had my old E90 335xi's speedo pegged (Went to 160 MPH) so I was probably going much faster than 165 MPH in that car. BMS DCI & Cobb AP OTS tune. In Mexico as well. Had an old Camaro Z28 & C6Z close to those speeds as well. I really wanna do a half mile event |
