Unfortunately no they were in and out like a flash. The couple just wanted a place to get away from all the attention of Hollywood but as you know they broke up and the house was sold with Tom finding a smaller pad nearby though wherever he still owns that I don't know.
When I visited LA with my partner 10 years ago we passed his house there on a tour that was completely hidden by trees and undergrowth which you can't blame him for with the media and paparazzi frenzy then and no doubt still now.

I did sometimes go to nice pubs there in East Dulwich at the time in the hope of bumping into Tom and Nicole but didn't strike it lucky.

A new high profile movie comes up, my wife is excited because it's one of those "chick" movies that was heavily anticipated. The main actress pops up and she looks very familiar. When the name comes on screen it clicks: it's the girlfriend! She looks almost completely different mind you, that's movie magic, but it's definitely her. Since then I've been rooting for her in her career. It's nice knowing that she is genuinely a good person that didn't mind talking to the non-celebrity at the bar that one night.

Since you're giving a compliment, please do tell who this actress was. I understand if you don't want to say who the jerk was (but we'll forgive you if you do)!

If I said who the actress was it would be very easy to identify the rest of the party. But I will say that said jerk was one of the actors knocked down a few notches in past few years by the #metoo movement. No surprise there.

In the spirit of positivity I can say that one of the nicest and most interesting celebrities I've met is Jeff Goldblum. He's literally what you expect. Super quirky, always has something interesting to say and seems to be in constant wonder in everything that happens around him.

I've heard the same of Tom Hanks. My parents ran into he and his wife on two separate vacations.

My wife was an RN while he was in the hospital for a leg injury from a film he did. She says he was a sweetheart and everyone loved him and his wife because they were so pleasant. A lot of celebrities were patients at her hospital so they had a good barometer. In a related story, Gary Sinise (Lt Dan!) was visiting and was also very nice interacting with my wife.

Wow that's nuts. My buddy used to date Jennifer Love Hewitt when she was still a teen. Her mother was very protective of her.
