I love this app. From a restored backup it even works on ics. However on both gingerbread and ics the app doesn't sleep properly. If you forget to kill it it will suck the battery dry in about one hour!
any chance of an official fix? |

I don't have this problem. if you're pulling app and data from a previous backup, that could be the problem. If using Titanium Backup, just pull that apk, not data. It could be other apps keeping it alive also. Get Better Battery Stats off of the xda forums and see what's causing the kernel wakelocks.

will there be an update to allow us to edit our posts though the use of an iphone or other mobile device?
Kind of annoying not to update or edit posts on mobile devices. |

I have the verizon galaxy nexus running 4.0.3 and no FC problems here. There are times I have to kill the app to make it close but that's pretty rare.

It works on My HTC Desire but is using a huge 16.69MB of phone memory with no option to move to SD. That, I'm afraid, makes it a complete none starter on this phone so deleted! |

Jelly Bean 4.1.1 breaks Bimmerpost
My Galaxy Nexus was recently updated to Jelly Bean 4.1.1, which seems to have lead to the Bimmerpost application error in the attached screenshot.
Steps to recreate: - open Bimmerpost on Galaxy Nexus running Jelly Bean 4.1.1 - the applications's splash screen displays correctly - the headline articles display for a few seconds - before any further user action is taken, "Unfortunately, Bimmerpost has stopped", is displayed. I'm running Bimmerpost 1.71 and it worked previously on the same hardware running Ice Cream Sandwich 4.0.4. Un-installing Bimmerpost and re-installing yields the same crash result when the application is started. |
