Speaking of ignoring history. Have you ever seen what an Integra Type R goes for used? Or even a late 90's Civic SiR?

If paying msrp... its certainly a worthwhile car... above that it gets dicey and unfortunately with the last gen, dealers were very greedy.

Of course not. All he does is make "edgy" posts about how everything he doesn't like is terrible and stupid.

Garage List
Watched Savage Geese's initial review last night and he bought one, I'd say that's pretty high praise. The ride does look punishing though.

From what I've gathered the average is $10K - $15K over MSRP. Sadly, the CTR isn't a $60K car. $40K - $50K is passable but anything over is an incredibly tough sell. Of course this is my humble opinion and some folks certainly think otherwise because they're paying these wild ADMs.

Yep, my local dealer wants 35k over sticker for theirs. I'd rather just pay MSRP (or slightly above) for an Si and save 40k.

Anyone who pays that kind of markup on ANY car is insane (unless it's some supercar and you wipe your ass with $100 bills).

Wow, $35K. I suspect they're not getting that, that's why it's available. Would you really consider or buy an Si? These dealers keep pushing it when I inquire about the Type R. I would not remotely consider a Civic Si, at all.

Or a Bentley Continental GTC for $40k

Yes, I know used v new & different cars, but a $40k Civic will always be lol to me. YMMV so don't bother trying to convert me.

I'd rather pay $30k for a stupid low mile pristine S2000 if I am buying a Honda for too much $.

As my primary car? No. For a secondary vehicle though, I think an Si is fine. I'm really just looking for something to scratch the MT itch.

Si is a fine daily/beater, but a toy? nope!
