Maximising revenue in the last few years of exhausts. There won’t be any exhausts at all in the next all EV vehicles. It’s a tradition on the way out the door anyway.

I can’t wait for the retro 1980’s Saab/Volvo throwback era to be over. You have to look hard to find timeless aesthetically pleasing designs in BMW right now. There are some examples - but they are the exception.

So I guess e36/e30 m3’s weren’t real M bmws since they only had single mufflers with duel tips.

I agree that the old X2 looked odd, old and cheap. The new one looks much better imo.

I totally disagree. The X2 has a very beautiful design (exterior wise) and a unique personality, on the positive side.
Too bad is CLAR with fake xDrive (Haldex, like the new ones).

And is still waaay more beautiful than those new X1 and X2 POS design (inside and outside). All I see is a cheap Skoda

Do you only come on this forum to talk shit about every single bmw design since the late E chassis days? Literally all your recent posts are shit talking bmws designs. Maybe just do yourself a favor, sell yours and you won’t have to be troubled with posting on this forum.

He’s been here eight years longer than you and has ten times as many posts and twenty times as many positive reps. I think it’s a fair bet he’s posted a lot more in favor of BMW than against. And the vast majority of BMW’s recent designs deserve a lot of shit talking.

Actually I’ve been here a lot longer than that. Left the forum after I sold my single turbo 335i back in 2010. Forgot what email I used and therefore made a new account. Recently came back when I got a m235i. Reading comprehension must not be a strong suit for you as I stated “RECENT” posts. If you guys are so artistic in vehicle design, maybe apply for a job.

If you’re gonna offer those things on this car, add these things to the M240, M340, M440, etc. At least those are actually quick. 5.2 seconds for a quad-tail pipe with compound brakes and M all-around isn’t what M is supposed to mean or stand for.
M now stands for More Money.

Don’t worry, I didn’t miss your recent qualifier. I stand by my post. So you think because he’s pointing out the BMW design department has gone to shit and he says so he should sell his BMW, quit posting, and leave the forum.

Aww did I catch you in the feels. Go write a thread about me. I’ve contributed far more technical knowledge than you’ll ever understand. Go back to design criticism since it’s the only thing you’re good at.

This is not a vehicle that i would ever consider buying but for the money BMW has done a nice job with this one.Great looking M compound brakes and nice to see they are starting to put real sporty quad exhaust pipes on M performance models.I hate the fake exhaust caps they have been putting on a bunch of models lately.

The interior design also looks fantastic with the alcantara seats and inserts on the dash and upper part of the doors. The actual design of the seats also looks amazing.Makes you wonder why they didn’t design these types of materials in the new G87.The new flat screen also looks way better then the one in the new M2.Too bad the new 2 series Gran Coupe isn’t going to be rear wheel drive because it will probably get a similar interior.
