If I want to European delivery the next gen M2, when can I expect to be able to do that? Front page says end of production for current M2 is 6/2021.

The EOP of the F87 will depend also on how sales will go on in the next months.

Right now, the M2 comp sells equal to the n55 M2, and it's not bad at all, considering that the actual 2er design base...has six years! So...it'll depend.

I guess that probably by the end of the year, in concomitation of the new M3 reveal, we'll see an upcoming 2er coupé test mule caught on the road.

This means that the changes to MY2020 will be at least:

- 30% increase in battery capacity
- xDrive available for Eurpoe
- Live cockpit (new dash)

That's a decent upgrade for a non-facelift MY refresh.
If anyone was interested the above mentioned was just confirmed at the Geneva motor show. New battery pack will be 12 kWh and from 7/19 (MY20) you will be able to order xDrive as well.

Do you guys know if BMW plans a 545e version at any point for the G30? With the same drivetrain setup as the X5 45e and the 745e?

The plans are there, but I can't confirm if/when it'll come to market.

It could even become an M545e. As the first M Performance Electrified Vehicle.

Interesting, I would have thought it would be the M550e so you have a 50i and 50d option - that would all line up quite nicely.

Would it be the same basic drivetrain as the 745e but with a bit more turbo boost?

Launch models will be 116d, 118d, 120d, 118i, and M135i. Others will likely appear later, but nothing like what you've described.

Looks like Autocar have bad information and no common sense. An M135d with 228 bhp, riiiight.

The 130i engine numbers autocar references sound like the numbers being thrown around for the new FWD Mini JCWs. The F56s replacement is less than 2 years out at this point, have you seen anything for it?

Shaping up quite nicely.
Any idea when we'll see a hybrid F40, and what the specs will be?

Is the 06/20 EOP for the F82 M4 correct? The new G82 M4 won’t be available until 2021 so that would mean no M4 for almost a year.

Yes it is correct. There is always a gap in production from one generation of M vehicle to the next. In fact the M3 and X5 M are on hiatus right now, awaiting the next generation models to be ready.

It's exactly two years - March 2021 is when the replacement will come. And this is right about when I can usually get the first hints of what it will be. So hopefully I'll have some news within the next 2-3 months.
