Never resist the urge to keep your mouth shut.
At the very least, don't blow up at someone you work or live with until you give them a chance to explain.
Talk about wrecking a good Friday afternoon. Sheesh. I need a drink now.

I had bosses who yelled right on my face
vs who calmly just listen. One who calmly listen to me are ones who are less forgiving.

At our level of career (or age), I am sure it is not something bad. Probably a different direction? tell us.

God I hate men. Fucking idiots not taking a polite no as an answer and then I snap and ten minutes later I feel like I should apologize and tell the person all women are not evil.
Yes, op, I know what you're talking about even if the place and time is not the same.

I didn't do anything wrong. Something I said (just thinking out loud) was badly and inexplicably misinterpreted by someone and that person's supervisor jumped all over me before finally listening to what I had to say. Then it was all apologies and compliments and done with.
Still, I don't shake that stuff off easily. Macallan indeed. Wish I had one now. <===That's what I really look like right about now.

Sigh...6 posts or so and this still hasn't strayed off topic. What is OT coming to?
Lups, you are evil, you know it, just....bah. So, I'll do this thread a favour. Should I buy a self-propelled lawnmower or a push lawnmower? I feel like for the fine trimming around a tree stump (of which I have many unfortunately), a push is more maneuverable. But self-propelled might be better in the long run. Discuss...or please, just discuss something that isn't on topic. This is off topic after all. |

Under 0.75 acre, buy push mower.

You're missing the whole issue. It's not between push and self-propelled, it's between self-propelled and riding mower. And the key consideration there is the likelihood of needing a beer while you're mowing. If the yard is big enough that you'll need a beer to survive the ordeal, get a rider.
Thought you of all people would understand that. Sheesh.

Well, because I live in the first world, I was considering getting a rider anyways. But the question really is for the stuff the rider can't get, should I get the self-propelled or push?
I'm leaning to self-propelled simply because I think it will be at least one season before I can purchase a rider. |

I have 8 trees in the back, all circled in scalloped cinder with gravel inside the well. I have no problem with the self propelled getting around those circles. Most SP have a clutch of sorts, so you can do the straight under its power and the curves under yours.

I wish I suffered from this problem. I try to keep respectful when dealing with people, but if they piss me off- no fucks given. If guilt ever starts to creep- I remind myself that it was more than likely their fault
