in canada, we have very little mini classics that are fore sale + in good condition.. lots of the % of the mini's are imported from japan.
im pretty sure down in the states there will be more selection... just make sure you find a good body mini to work with.. Engines are eaasy to work with, but the bodywork is not.. also, if you want to go to the extreme, you can buy the mini subframe honda kit that allows u to put either a D, B, or even K series honda engine!

Crazy! I certainly hope it rides better than the loaner Mini Cooper I had the other day. That POS felt like it was about to fall apart, and it only had 15k miles on it. When using the steptronic, it would take 2 seconds to shift LOL...
BTW, what color Mini classic?

nice! i was planning on getting one also, but then i got the E90 and decided no to get it..
i believe there is a place that has a kit + install for the honda engine mod.. is like under 4000 to get a fully swapped D series engine done + installed!

I know you're going to do HID retrofit on the car. PS what's the top speed on that thing? I wonder if it can go over the 405 by the Getty Center. JK.
