Wife and I love to cook. Fun to see what everyone else is doing.
Tonight: Fresh linguini with French rose garlic shrimp, shiitake and chanterelle mushrooms with asparagus in a saffron white wine cream sauce. |

Looks delicious, but the cynic in me says this thread may have been timed to this meal.

Wow, you can make your own dinner at home? Is that what the funny square box with the four round areas is for? I tried storing beer on the shelves inside the boxy part, but it did a lousy job of keeping them cool.

Looks a lot like my dinner, except mine was fettuccine with grilled chicken, served on a paper plate, eaten on the couch, in my boxers. Didn't bother to take a pic.

My last three homemade meals.
Short rib over garlic mashed potatoes.  Pork belly tonkotsu ramen with tamago.  Beef cheeks with a panko-crusted soft boiled egg and sauteed mushrooms over creamy truffle polenta.  All proteins cooked via sous vide between 48 to 72 hours. |
