She had a fight with one of her friends... I just sat there and listened to her version of the story. This is the part that I believe went wrong:

Her: "I'm just going to wait until she talks to me again, I'm not going to contact her"
Me: "Why don't you put your pride aside and try to fix the issue?"
Her: "It is not pride, she was rude to me, not the other way around"
Me: "I still think you should talk to her"
Her: "Ugh! maybe in a few days when I'm over it"

.......... I was pronounced dead @ 10:30 last night.........

I see where you went wrong. The real pro tip is that they DO NOT WANT ADVICE. Pretty much ever. The first sentence opened the coffin. The last one just shut it on you. Let me go ahead and re-play this conversation is a way that doesn't get you in trouble.
