Man that shit is scary! People piss me off on the road all the time, people on motorcycles can be especially stupid at times. I however couldn't even imagine trying to kill someone with my car. I could see the asshole in the car being brought up on attempted murder charges, stuff like this has no business on the streets innocent people could have easily been harmed here.

I saw this a couple days ago on Facebook--I question how the guy keeps up with him when it looks like he is hauling ass.

Had to have been a 250.

I rarely rode around town so hardly ran into other cars. But on occasion went cruising with a friend at night and seemed like the jack asses always found us.

We had people throw bottles at us, trash, coins, etc... always seemed to come out of no where. We'd be sitting at a light talking and a gatorade bottle flew between us. We look up and some drunk fuck is standing up out of the sunroof of the car in front of us throwing shit. I've kicked a few doors and punched a few fenders/quarter panels of stupid people pushing me off the road. Carbon kevlar gloves do more damage than i thought. A friend has broken someones driver window by doing that to someone who was pushing him into oncoming traffic.

But never had this type of cocksuker mess with me. This dude is on another level.

Sounds familiar......we would ride out ahead of the night time asshats and wait for them to drive by as we waited.......toss marbles in the air and man you would be amazed at how much damage some marbles could cause to a speeding car. I kept a bag of marbles in my leather jacket........Phil

"It's not easy riding on two wheels. Just ask Florida biker Ron Gonzales. His helmet camera was rolling Monday during a confrontation with an angry driver during his morning commute to work. Gonzales told WSVN that he maneuvered between two stopped vehicles, known as lane splitting, when the man became enraged. Lane splitting is a common move by bikers, but it is illegal in the Sunshine State.

In this instance, the Ford driver's anger at getting passed by the motorcyclist turned dangerous very quickly. Once Gonzales made it to the front of traffic he was met at the next light by the irate driver, who swore at Gonzales and made rude hand gestures. Gonzales tried to get away, but he was chased by the driver at speeds of nearly 90 miles per hour. Gonzales and the man weaved in and out of incoming traffic. Gonzales tried to shake the angry driver, but it didn't work. Eventually, the driver leaned out of his window and spat on and hit Gonzales. He responded by smacking the driver's side mirror. Both men contacted police, and there is an ongoing investigation into the altercation."

Can't pinpoint the type of bike he has but it's most probably not a 250. The 250s I've seen don't have the type of upper clipons and upper triple tree this bike has. I'm banking on it being a 600.

What's clear to me is the rider can't ride. There's no way that car would have been even near me if I was trying to get away from him. The footage of him making the right at the first intersection says it all.

I think there's more to the story based off of the autoblog link above. It was clear he had the video running the entire time he was riding and none of the footage showed the incident the rider mentioned that sparked the incident. The video does clearly show him lane splitting between two moving vehicles which is clearly illegal in all states except California. I personally think the guy probably rides like a squid and did it next to an a$$hat driver which set the driver off.

I normally side with riders when it comes to many of the incidents captured on the road but not so much this one. I'm not siding with the actions of the driver either. Just think it's just two knuckleheads butting heads together.

Smh. Nope. I rode when I lived in Michigan. I didn't have a bike for a while and planned to pick a new one up down here and start. Then I saw how bad the driving population is here and read story after story of people getting taken out by left turns in front of them and such. And now also this... Nice. Why does it always seem to be FL? Anyway, have decided I likely won't get a new bike for a while. This is not usual bad driver shit though... Wow. Someone needs to teach that guy some manners.

Yeah I know it's not really a 250 but he was riding like a rookie. And you can definitely tell he was lane splitting.....look at the right mirror as it's folded in. And oh yeah, lane splitting is also legal in Texas......I did it all the time. The bike is giving me a R6 vibe for all you Ryders looking at this........Phil

If the Ford is a V6 Fusion they are pretty quick.

And as far as motorcycles or any fast cars go until you are about a full minute ahead of someone, all it takes is you lifting or being slowed for a few seconds for someone who is accelerating to reacquire and catch you.
