Holy Hades, it’s hot in Georgia

Can We say 'HOT!'?

Took a quick pic of the temp gauge right after work. I even let the cabin air out a little before hitting the start/stop button!! Damn!!

That sucks.

Yeah it should be high 80s to low 90s this time of the year in Las Vegas. Our high is 73F today and even lower the next few days. You can have the 100+ days, but we'll be there soon enough unfortunately.

Waiting for the mods to change this clever, fun title to something like "man posts picture of in-car thermometer hitting 118 degrees in Scottsdale, while door is open"

Just playing around mods, don't ban me!

I've seen 47C (117F) on mine. I was pretty impressed that everything just ran normally with no dramas

No, that's not the actual temp. That was the recorded temp. Inside the car though. Highs this weekend are suppose to reach the century mark with a heat index of 105-110 degrees.

That temperature reading on the dash is outside temperature, not interior temperature. Especially when standing still or in heavy traffic, it can read considerably higher than the actual ambient temperature.

Because of it's location, it can pick up heat radiated from the pavement as well as heat from other cars in front. Yours seems to be reading about 20 degrees high from reflected heat.

Went to dinner last night and it was 59. Wind chill I think was about 51.

51! Just before Memorial day/start of summer. Dogs and Cats, living together!!!!

If elected Prez, what are you going to do to turn this around?

Ha ha ha - sucker! Even we didn't get that! Now I feel better, thank you. Next time I complain about snow, I think I'm just going to PM you and hope you reply that you are having a worse go of it than me to help brighten my day!
