hey guys
if your car is stock, do we really need pictures of it????
I know people are proud of their new cars, but man if it's the exact same as mine and 3000 other people I don't think we need pics of it. if you have aftermarket wheels, bodykits, mods of some sort lets see some pics but yeah................. |

Haha I was just thinking of starting a thread like this just now. I really am getting sick of it man. ALl these "i just got my E90" and "new ED E90 pix" are driving me crazy. I dont even click on them anymore. I mean I have an E90 man, I dont need to know what it looks like. Eh well...

People are proud of their new rides, and there are many different combination of trim levels, not every car is exactly alike, so I don't mind opening up the thread and check out the pictures. But you can defintely choose to skip those threads. I feel that this is different than people asking the same questions over and over again without searching, that's gotta be my biggest pet peeve, lazy and dumb people, sorry to be harsh, but that's what they are.

nope, I realized that people didn't need to see a picture of something that was already on here. e90post has a great resource in all the pictures of the different color combinations and interior combinations in the photo gallery, it was important for people to add to these threads in the early days to make a complete resource.... but now, the stock combos are all on here already because the car is "mine" doesn't mean it's special or that anyone else wants to look at it........... It's just annoying to see people all excited to show off their new car when it's really nothing new or exciting. |

ward is right. Isnt that what the "garage" feature is for? if anyone cares what your stock ride looks like they can check there.
The exception would be if you take really sweet looking pics like nikki. really artistic. |

I know it may seem repetitive and tiresome, but give em a break. They just bought their car, they spent a lot of money, and wanna show it off. Let them have their moment and if u dont wanna see it, dont click on it. Not a big deal.

I don't let small things bother me, I can't live my life getting pissed about things that do not matter. I always check them out, and understand how excited the new e90 owner is. I love seeing new pics...have a great day.

as repetitive and as annoying as it may seem, i still go and congratulate them on their new car. i don't mind it at all.
also, i find many times that, especially EU made cars, there are some subtle differences from car to car (like, someone gets individual, someone else gets some crazy interior combo, etc. etc). so then when a newbie comes here and requests a picture of red aluminum trim with purple leather and pink metallic paint, there is a good chance they'll find it here or someone can point them to it.

well....the spirit of sharing, acceptance and compliments is what fosters the level of camraderie that we enjoy in this forum. Sharing pics of new rides is what adds to the level of community sore lacking in some other forums. Even after countless pics of e90 viewed I still look forward to seeing pics of new rides...so I say yay on pics. If a lot of people are bothered with it, maybe we can designate a whole new section for introductions etc (I know we have a pics/video section already)...

What our E90Post Curmudgeon, Ward, is trying to say is that all these pics of new rides are boring unless the pics include hot-ass models posing next to, on top of, inside, or under the new, stock rides.

Well, let me be the first to say that when my car comes in I will be posting pictures. And my pictures are going to be hot.
It's a COMMUNITY... I like to see people's new toys.
