If you preordered a Model Y, have you been contacted about finalizing yet?
For those of you who pre-ordered a Model Y when the order bank first opened a couple years ago, have you gotten a call from Tesla to schedule delivery next month? There are rumors floating around that this will happen but the evidence seems sketchy.

The Model Y isn't scheduled to start delivery until late 2021. If anyone is stating otherwise, I think they're lying.

All variants of the Tesla Model Y will be available by the third quarter of 2020, with Performance deliveries to start in February followed by Long Range variants in March-April, a staff member confirmed to a customer on Wednesday. The news, which has come directly from a Tesla employee, implies Tesla has every intention of delivering on a goal to ramp up of production to 1,000 units a week – and perhaps even exceeding it – as promised by CEO and co-founder Elon Musk at the company’s Q3 2019 earnings call. https://thedriven.io/2020/01/23/tesl...xt-few-months/

There may still be state and local incentives but many of these are being scaled back after the federal incentive ended. You can still get a good deal with used but these cars do tend to hold their value pretty well.

So it does look like they will start deliveries in March after all as it now says on the website and from credible sources as they just published their earnings results for the quarter. But that's still a month after February.
