Marks on door - scratches?

Hi all,

I noticed this on my passenger door today, any ideas what would cause this? Thanks in advance

I have the same thing. It happens when they take the wrapping off and that dude doesnt care at all....

The black gloss trim is super soft. So literally just touching it will causing marring. So won't take much to damage it considerably.

Highly recommend putting a protective clear bra over those areas. Mine also had scratches because they scratch very easily. Got the clear bra on them and they look brand new.

I had similar fine scratches, those trim areas are soft and scratch very easily. Meguiar's Scratch X will get it off after which you may consider protecting it by installing clear protective film or even a ceramic coating which will help reduce likelihood of scratches. When washing the car be super gentle on those areas ensuring use of clean cloths.

Piano black is infamous for that. I have paint protection film (PPF) on those parts as I was told that looking at it may scratch it It appears it was quite a good idea with that film.
