HUD Trim Peeling?

Has anyone else had this happen? It looks like what happens to old soft touch plastic peeling. I've never applied any cleaning product etc to that area at all, car is typically parked in the garage so it isn't exposed to too much sun. Has anyone else had peeling in that area?

Have a photo you can post? I'd imagine this is something that would be repaired/replaced under warranty.

I didn't get a good photo but the part is back ordered so I will get a pic later. They are replacing under warranty, just wanted to see if this was some one-off issue or common. It has been super hot here but I don't leave my car in the sun very often.
