Online marketplace horror stories

Anyone have any?

Whenever I list something for sale on Facebook marketplace (which isn't often at all, maybe once a year...) it's always a complete shitshow filled with weird interactions with even weirder people. It's only a matter of time before I have a truly bad experience.

Other than no response from buyers and sellers and the typical low ballers, never really had any bad experiences buying or selling with FM. I've bought and sold several old trucks, sold a propane grill, and lots of misc car parts. Bought lots of second hand baby stuff that costs way too much new, like a $700 double stroller for $160 and 2x $400 convertible car seats for $200 total.

I have a big issue when the ad specifically says to pick up the item at my location and they want me to deliver and lowball me. Sorry, not going to happen.

I put up an item for sale this morning and the first reply I got was someone who called himself "big money rob", had a pic of himself holding a blunt and a bottle of hennessey, and his most recent post was "I'm convinced no girl can handle this [eggplant emoji]".

Now I'm not one to judge... but I can't say I'd feel totally comfortable dealing with this person...
