Tagged along for inputs as well. I have 3M Crystalline on my Z4M and still looks great after 10 years. However the Z4M only driven on the weekends and garaged. I am looking to tint my DD and debating between 3M Crystalline vs Xpel XR Plus. They are similar in prices.

I went to a reputable shop so there were no issues. However, the 3M Crystalline has noticeable rainbow effect with polarized sunglasses. This is why I wanted to check out Xpel.

my Xpel dealer in Boise ID was the best. Did PPF and Tint and when issues arose (bubble in the tint, and a chip on the nose of my M4) they took care of it no problem. I have no concerns about longevity. Shout out to Scott and Julia at XPEL Boise.

I went with the Xpel ceramic tint and have had zero issues with incredible clarity. I picked up another vehicle after the M3 and went with the same film. They claim that the ceramic film also prevents signal disruption (cell phones etc.) -- didn't have an issue (that I was aware of ) with other films and no issues with the Xpel ceramic.

I have SunTek. I forget the exact product from SunTek but it is their ceramic tint offering. Ive had it installed for well over two years in the Miami heat/sun. Not one issue. I had this same product installed on a previous car for much longer with no issues as well.
SunTek is also a little more reasonably priced than the other premium tints and the heat rejection is great. |

I opted for the Xpel ceramic tint and have been extremely satisfied with its clarity, having experienced no issues whatsoever. When I purchased a different vehicle subsequent to the M3, I selected the same film. While they assert that the ceramic film also prevents signal interference with cell phones, I had not experienced any problems with previous films and continue to have none with the Xpel ceramic.
