Generally, decon products are only needed for cars that aren't regularly maintained. It takes more/less 3ish weeks for enough expand/contract heat "breathing" cycles to work the particles into your clear coat; so if you're washing more frequently than that you'll get little to no contamination. For example my vehicle is 16 months old & been on 4 West Coast top to bottom road trips and has no embedded particles that I can feel yet. That's said, when I go to polish it, I'll definitely do a iron & clay decon |

I want to mention the CARPRO DHydrate Drying Towel which my PPF shop uses and turned me on to. It comes in various sizes, absorbs a great deal of water and does an amazing job drying the car. I recommend getting the large size as it speeds up the process. It isn't cheap but definitely worth the price!

Couple that haven’t been mentioned:
As a sacrificial topper to ceramic coatings: Carpro HydrO2 (not the premixed spray bottle one, use other one that you mix yourself, the SiO2 content is significantly higher) Griots 3-in-1 ceramic spray - super easy to use, easiest I have found actually Tires Blackfire Tire Gel (I also use Carpro Perl sometimes but it’s been mentioned already) Car Soap Carpro Reset DIY Ceramic Coatings Kamikaze Miyabi with Kamizake ISM over it (and then either the Griots or HydrO2 as the top coat as mentioned above) Extending Car Mitt Autofiber Leather Coating Gyeon Leather Shield - used for first time when we picked up our X3 in early Jan, super easy and forgiving to use. Miscellaneous Adams Brilliant Glaze for interior windows (also great on a glass shower enclosure) The Rag Company Liquid8r drying towel, best I had tried and I have tried almost all of them lol |

Yes, the Luiquid8r left my panels dryer after one pass than the Gauntlet. I guess the Achilles heel of the twisted loop towels like the Liquid8r is that they are hard to wring out. I usually take mine and put it right into the washer with microfibers and mitts after done vs trying to wring and air dry, I tried that once and it stayed wet a long time before I gave up and into the wash/dry cycle it went. |

Car Shampoo: GTECHNIQ G Wash
Consumer Grade Ceramic Coating: GTECHNIQ Crystal Serum Light + EXOv4 + C2V3 = killer combination Tire Dressing: I've used just about every tire dressing under the sun and the best one I've used is GYEON Tire Q². It's a SiO2-based solution that works incredibly well. For best results, I heat up the tire wall before and after application. Wheel Cleaner: TUGA Devil Special Wheel Cleaner. This stuff is expensive but works like magic. It requires very little to no manual intervention, especially on a coated wheel. Leather: GYEON Q²M Leather Cleaner Strong + GYEON Q² Leathershield

I gotta jump in on this as I have a ton of experience with these:
Totally agree with Ljn21 that the liquidator is best for pure drying and it what I use for a high volume fast dry. That said, the Gauntlets are great when using a drying aid as I use 2: one for the first pass, a different one for the 2nd buffing pass. In that scenario, the gauntlet's bite is much better. I love the gauntlets for this "Rinseless" wash & dry use and it's what I use 80% of the time but that's just my process. |

I plan on using a Blo Car Dryer S to dry out the nooks and crannies and handle the rest with either the gauntlet or liquid8r. So if I’m understanding correct the point of a drying aid is to provide lubrication during drying as well as aid some gloss (even protection). |

After cycling through numerous brands, I’ve seriously landed on everything CarPro for all the chemicals.
Still want to try Bilt Hamber and Koch Chemie (although I have Motorplast and it’s excellent). The only thing different I use for wheels is Sonax Wheel Cleaner Plus, which I find is the only thing that cleans all the brake dust properly from the F90. Stuff is expensive as it needs to be used undiluted, and I’ve resorted to buying the 5L pales for $100. Stupid expensive. The one I can’t get my head around for wheels is P&S Brake Buster, that so many people rave about. That stuff has just never worked well anywhere close to Sonax.

What would ya'll suggest for leather cleaning? I was gonna probably use Gyeon Interior Detailer for everything, but I'd also like something specifically for leather, either colourlock or gyeon leather cleaner mild, or Carpro Inside
