Love the silouette! Assuming this is the “X3” on the Neue Klasse platform, love how it’s less SUV and almost more shooting brake.

I dig the profile. A little too much junk in that trunk! Kinda rear heavy.

For whatever reason, looks like an updated version of the Dodge Durango.

There’s no harsher critic of new BMW’s than the person who bought a used 15 year old base model 3 Series with 150K miles who believes it is the pennicle of automotive engineering.

That said, I like the side profile. At least I think I do. Camo hides a lot of the lines.

BMW is walking a fine line of being just shy of minivans. If the iX had sliding doors for the second row it would be a minivan. Same with this one. If you make a tall roofline touring you have a ....... You guessed it. I'd like to see them move away from this.

I like the Neue Klasse front end design language. The past 5-7 years of Transformer/boy racer/origami design language never looked timeless or well thought-out imo.

Rear reminds me of the XM, as we all know how that bestoke M model is selling.

Obviously the roof life on the BMW slopes more, but if you asked somebody to take the Durago and make it look more modern, you wouldn’t end too far from this lol.

They should call this the "No Class."

The issue isn’t so much with the design of the car, it has to do with the ridiculous pricing. If the XM was priced similar to the X7, the sales would be there. The talk from people who are walking through the dealership just to window shop or people buying another BMW, is that the design is different and it’s something they would consider…if it were not for the price tag.

We’re in a very price-conscious time when it comes to cars. Even things like the AMG SL, it’s a car you want to drive/buy but not at its current pricing where Mercedes is throwing a lot of incentive money and it still not moving.

Funny, you say that I have mentioned that to others it’s only a sliding door away from a minivan

I’m excited to see how some of the Neue Klasse design features trickle down into production.

This is a fantastic concept, you see a little of every BMW from when the company came back from the brink of bankruptcy up to the pinnacle of its design the 90s 3/5/7, before they introduced new numbers and X in my opinion.

I have no doubt that some fantastic cars will come out of the Neue Klasse. Even looking at the basic reveal car I can see where it could be made to look fantastic. It will take a mind shift to move on from ICE, but I think the pros are already starting to outweigh the cons. It was crazy to see a recent video of a lucid air destroying a turbo s in the 1/4 mile and standing mile. Just incredible. BMW and Porsche will apply their magic to this in the sense of track performance. The future is bright.
