This brings back memories, I saw Don McLean at a small club in Phila. one night when he sang American Pie before it was released and also was the first time he sang Vincent in public. Used to see Bruce there also, loved Jungleland

Lucky bastard. American Pie is probably the best American song ever written, at least in my opinion. I'm way too young to have had an opportunity to see any of them (though Bruce does tour, so that one's on me).
