Issues with Apple Carplay and iDrive 9

Greetings to this impressive community - I just bought a 2024 X1 M35i and the iDrive 9 is buggy as heck. Now Carplay won't work at all - anyone else with these issues and anyone want to suggest how to reach BMW for a fix? My dealer says it will get fixed but it's urgent from my seat. It's my first BMW in 30 years - LOVE the vehicle, technology not so much to this point.

Check out the iD9 thread might help, some are loving it with no issues others its terrible and still in beta. Some fixes for some things are on the way but it seems some cars had issues with the latest update.

I have a m35i and can say that I have really bad connectivity issues w CarPlay.

Cars at the dealership now bc of a battery and CEL warning

That just makes it like iDrive 8.....

I do sometimes get into my car and CarPlay doesn't connect, so I have to go to the mobile devices app, and manually check off the CarPlay box. Happens maybe 1x per month.
